Every Facebook group owner wants an engaged group. In order for you to be an an active member inside the community as a non-paying member, you need to ensure that you do not violate the group rules and be seen as adding value with your posts to the members otherwise your posts will not be approved.

In Midlife Female Entrepreneurs I encourage new members to share their business links with their first introductory post.

This could be a link to their website, Facebook Group, offer for coaching, masterclass or anything they are currently promoting, however the context of the post must always offer value first before promoting themselves.

I do not tolerate spam in my group. The members share good quality value posts on the main wall. The members reading the posts are more likely to engage with a post if the author is providing an interesting point of view of their industry or insights that the reader can engage with and comment on to acknowledge the author of the post.

There are daily promotional threads in the Midlife Female Entrepreneurs group that enables non-members to promote their business to the group of 10k members (at time of writing)!!
